About the Book:
Life is a learning curve from birth to death. We grow all the time, at least 1% everyday.

This book is aimed at the person who is stuck in a rut, feeling very low, or even insecure, depressed or just wanting a new changed life.

What I am about to share with you is how change can be made fun and easy. For most people when they hear the word change they go into a panic and fear sets in. “I can’t”; “It is too difficult”; “Why reinvent the wheel”; “I am happy as I am”. Good for you! That is all good and well, but it won’t allow you to grow, or improve yourself. Always remember, you are never too old to learn new things.

For people to grow you have to change. It may be just one thing in the way you think or the way you do things or how you accept things. If you go down the same road every day you come to the same destination; if you take a deviation you may find and see things you did not know existed.

In this book, I will cover things like what your real purpose is in life. As a result you may find the right job, a hobby or sport that you have been interested in, or maybe why you are on this earth. What is stopping you? Is it fear, not knowing what it is you want or need, procrastination, lack of confidence and loss of self-esteem, or is it your old belief system?
In a lot of cases, it is found that what your parents and their parents believed in, may not be applicable in the 21st century. So what does this mean? “CHANGE” of course, in how we think and do things.

Later on you will read case studies of people who took the plunge and changed their lives for the better, not only for themselves but for everyone they came in contact with.

Are you ready to start the journey to a new you? You will find at the end of each chapter there will be an exercise or two to complete.

As we go through the steps you will notice that it could be a puzzle that you are doing. Every step is another piece of the puzzle, the new you is the final piece.

Let’s get down to what you are going to learn in the chapters that follow, to help you become the “NEW YOU”.

About the Author:

Pat Bosman was born in Carletonville a mining town in the North West Province of South Africa. She married Peter in 1970 and has two daughters Penny and Michelle who are married and living in the United States – she has a grandson Druss and a granddaughter Shannon.

Pat has had a very varied career starting as a Hairdresser, Receptionist, Security and Safety Officer, Security Manager, Personal Assistant.

Pat was diagnosed with depression after the death of her brother, and was told she had to be on medication for the rest of her life. In 1992, she found out that she had breast Cancer and had a double mastectomy. The following year, her mom died and her eldest daughter got married and immigrated to the UK. Then the following year, her dad passed away, Pat had a major breakdown and through the counselling of a great Psychologist and Reflexologist she came off all her medication very, very slowly and because of what Reflexology did for her, she then studied to become a Therapeutic Reflexologist. Now she lives a great life from all that she has experienced and learnt.

Fourteen years ago, Pat left her full-time employment as a PA to a Financial Director in the corporate world to run her own full-time practice as a Registered Therapeutic Reflexologist, in Gauteng, South Africa. At the beginning of 2008, she started a second practice at ‘The Anxiety and Trauma Clinic’ attached to the Morningside Medi-Clinic with a Psychologist, Child Therapist and Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist.

Over the last couple of years, she has written numerous articles for local newspapers, The Citizen, the Beeld, as well as The Caxton Newspaper Group and Internet sites such as Health24 and Woman24, Selfgrowth.com, as well as other sites on the internet.

She has been interviewed on ITV television and SABC 2, 702 Radio, SAFM and one of DSTV’s Indian radio audio channels.

Pat was Chairperson of the North West Branch of the South African Reflexology Society for five years, and then was elected onto the Executive Committee for four years.

She has a keen interest in dealing with people who suffer from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, diabetes, intestinal dysfunctions and stress, as well as being interested in the overall wellbeing of the patient. Because of her experience with depression, she ran the West Rand Depression and Anxiety support Group for a number of years. This year Pat started an online Health Coaching business: http://www.patthehealthcoach.com

Pat also attends Reflexology congresses overseas and, in this way, keeps up to date with what is happening around the world.
