About the Book:
I have had the privilege of working with many teachers and parents and it’s thanks to their enthusiasm and response to the educational workshops I run, that I have finally sat down and written this book.

This book is a resource for teachers and parents who want to make learning through play, fun and best of all they can do so by using what they have available at home.

I believe we have more than enough resources available – we just have to be resourceful in our approach to learning.

About the Author:

Renee Lighton has a BA degree and diplomas in Specialised Education for the Mentally Handicapped, Foundation Phase and Montessori Pre School Education. Renee taught for many years and co authored Shuters English, a successful range of books for Foundation Phase which is widely used in schools throughout South Africa.

She is a qualified Life Coach and Educational Coach who loves inspiring and presenting to both teachers and parents.

Her love of learning through play will inspire and motivate you to have fun with your child. Simple, practical ideas which make use of what you have at home, will encourage and develop the Maths, Phonics, Reading and Writing skills your child will need for Grade 1.

Your 3 to 7 year old child will benefit enormously through the simple and effective games you will learn.
