About the Book:

When do you fertilise? When do you add mulch? What season do you plant what vegetable??

As novice gardeners, Barbara and Christine set up a gardening blog (www.thegardeningblog.co.za) to follow each others' progress, post photographs of the budding garden and to find help when that nasty pest came a calling. All this new information needed to be written down. But those endless lists and bits of paper were not practical and tough to keep together. So, armed with a good idea of what to look for, the search for a useful gardening journal came to a frustrating halt. So ......

The Gardening Journal was created from a need to find a place to write all the new gardening tips we learn, and the seeds we are planting and the flowers and bulbs we need to watch grow.

This is a perfect companion for all  gardeners who love journaling about their garden and those who need shopping lists and planting dates and what grows where........ Useful places to add your info like:

  • Things to do this month
  • What can I plant this month
  • The Nursery contact details
  • Plant ID information
  • and a place to draw your new garden design

About the Journal Compilers:

The Gardening Blog is a blog by Barbie and Christine … life-long friends with two very different gardens. We are complete novice gardeners and through this blog we will be sharing our gardening experiences with each other and anyone who cares to join us in “watching our gardens grow”. Young mothers in our late teens / early twenties, “corporate types” throughout our 30′s and then business owners in our 40′s, gardening is a brand new passion for us both. Join us as we learn and grow … our gardens and as gardeners. (Read more about why we started this blog at “The Gardening Blog Begins“).

To visit the two gardeners, join them on their blog at The Gardening Blog

We, at New Voices Publishing, encourage all writers to publish their work......
