The idea of writing this book came after several years of visits to the Kruger Narional Park and trying to find a useful book that imparts basic ideas and knowledge of a variety of animals. Many books exist that will give the reader ample data and information regarding the different species of animals.
This book is an attempt to give the reader an oversight of the “big five” animals, and those that make up the “little five”. The “ugly five” are covered, as are the “big six birds” and finally some of the endangered species are discussed.
