t-ART Digital Photography and Design and New Voices Publishing have teamed up to create one of South Africa's first tributes to pet lovers !! It's been an idea that Hannes Thiart (artist and photographer) has been nurturing for two years and it will be honouring pet lovers with the book aptly named - "South Africa's Other Children". The main purpose of this book is for pet lovers everywhere in South Africa to send their best photo of their favourite pet. Do you have a special pet?? A dog, cat, horse, monkey, chicken, lizard..............?? We are looking for the wackiest - funniest - prettiest - ugliest - weirdest pets in SA!! Send us your snapshot of that special moment with your other children....!! There is no charge for the submission. If you don't have any pets, then send an e-mail to your friends who do. Let's make this the biggest pet book ever!!

The book will be published in the first quarter of 2008 and we will keep it at a reasonable price.

SUBMISSION PERIOD: This has been extended to February 2008. Correspondence with entrants will be by email only.
