I wrote this book challenged big time by Deut. 8: 18 which says, “But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.” This got me thinking that sometimes we separate our businesses from God thinking that he has nothing to do with business, only to find that he has everything to do with it as a great business person himself. He is the one to bring its success or downfall.
Another verse that got me thinking is 1 Samuel 2:7 saying, “The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.” If the Lord can send to your business poverty or wealth, it should leave you with no option but to want to follow his principles when doing your business. His principles are easy and are the principles that have caused strategists to come up with great business strategies.
Some of the many business principles and practices that I drew from the Word and am encouraging you to follow for the success of your business include among others the following:
- Excellent service
- Honest dealings without corruption
- Proper customer service
- Hard work
- Excellent human resource management
- Proper Business planning
- Marketing and more
