About the Author: Amy Wortmann is a 12 year old author from South Africa. She has been writing poems, short stories and beginnings of books for years, but “Tears of the Dragon” is her first published full-length book. She has a passion for writing, sketching and animals (especially wolves and dragons), and plays the piano, flute and recorder. Unsurprisingly, her favourite reading is either fantasy or animal-centric. (She is currently working her way through the Terry Pratchett Discworld series). Her dream is to one day visit the wolves in Canada.
